A good service will have accreditation with reputable organizations who can attest to the quality of the work, and the reliability of any equipment installed. The gold standard, of course, is the Better Business Bureau, but in the HVAC world, North American Technical Excellence (NATE) certification is absolutely essential to proving reliability. Also look for positive reviews from customers, and affiliations with specific heating and air conditioning brands.

A good HVAC company understands that breakdowns don’t always follow a 9-to-5 schedule, and that you may need someone to address an issue anytime, day or night. A good service understands this, and offers emergency calls 24/7 to make sure yours system gets the treatment it needs promptly.

Heating and air conditioning jobs can become complicated very quickly, and unscrupulous companies can use that to tack on a lot of additional costs after the price has been agreed upon. A proper repair service will detail all the costs up front, and make sure you are aware of and agree to them before starting work. That way, you don’t have to deal with any nasty surprises in the middle of the operation, and if further costs are required they can be negotiated up front.

We take our title seriously sat A Professional Heating and Air, and the quality of our work reflects it!

With the recent flooding here in the Covington, LA area, local homeowners have been quite busy facilitating repairs.
