We were having problems with keeping our house cool below 80 even though we had the temp set at 72. We originally contacted a friend of a friend who came & looked at it, he stated that the evaporator coil was damaged and needed to be repaired. The part was under warranty but labor would have been close to $600 & we couldn't pick up the part, had to be a licensed a/c tech. I was not about to give 600.00 to a friend of a friend. After a couple more months of trying to get our problem resolved, I found A-Professional online, best thing I ever did! James came out and we talked about what the other tech said and James suggested we go thru a process of elimination first. He tested the line in my attic several times (the other tech never did that), he showed no leak where the other tech said it was most likely a leaking evaporator coil. James suggested he put Freon coolant with a blue dye in it so we can track it in a couple months to see where it's leaking. That sounded great to me, if we didn't have to replace the coil that would be awesome, saving me $600 & if we did I could still get the part under warranty. He started putting in the coolant in and I instantly felt my house cooling down. First time in a long time the thermostat & temp in my house are the same!! He fixed it 2 weeks ago & it's still working great!
The tech was very nice. Our A/C was fixed within an hour. We were very happy with the service.
